Projects. The first of these projects involves the community of Ogidi, a town in mid-belt Nigeria. This town was chosen due to its uniqueness - The people of this small town, mostly of peasant farmers, built roads, bridges, schools (Primary and secondary schools), community centres, and electrification projects through communal self-help, with little contribution from the government. Education The chosen school was visited by a tropical rainstorm which caused extensive destruction to several blocks of classrooms. The community is expected to effect necessary repairs as the government authorities has not carried out the repairs for the past few years. The community was struggling with this, they needed help.
